Dandelion
First dandelions are so cheerful, they are sure signs of coming spring! And later they become weeds and nuisance in the gardens! Mixed feelings exactly as I have about this watering can. I like it partly and I am not happy with it either...

Country and Americana
I decided to give you a short break from watching all trays and watering cans! These are two key racks in country style - Americana and ... just country!
I am not very much in Americana style but like the deceptive simplicity of naive American art. Tried to make something remotely similar...

And a few pictires of my garden. We have a warm weather at last! For those of you who wants to know the names: geranium pyrenaicum; brunnera "Jack Frost"; viburnum "Mariesii" and omphalodes cappadocica. Last two pictures are of flowering hawthorn trees, they are amazing!

Cath's Roses and Rosina' s Cats
I make a lot of small items all the time but rarely show them. Maybe it's not the right way to do things. So here I show two sets of such small everyday objects.
You see this is the ever popular design of Cath Kidston. This set is for sale in My Shop

And I am sure you know these cats without me telling you!

Rocking Horse and Rickety Train
I love images of old fashioned toys like this rocking horse and woodent train, I would use them everywhere! Even on the watering can! The shape of the can is very traditional and the toy's pictures are rather bright so I made a decor very simple just to highlight the beauty of these lovely children's toys.

A Gift for the Gardener
We are nearly in March now and all my thoughts are about gardening! Just before Christmas I bought lovely napkins with botanical prints on them and could not wait to put them to use. Here is a gardening set of seed box and string tin!

Lace and Porcelain
I am not sure these are "pot holders", more like just "holders"! Holders for brushes and other accessories in bathroom or bedroom on the dressing table. Anyway I wanted them to look feminine...

Magazine Holders
I have been to IKEA recently and came back with new blanks. The first ones to make were these magazine holders - one for gardening magazines and another for some general reading. For the second holder I used cutouts of decoupage paper for outside and napkins for inside decorations.

Wall Mirror
I am not very keen on these mirrors, I think them useless as a proper functional mirror. May be try them as a decorative object? I am sure you've seen a lot of items decorated in this style, with 3D ornaments, I am always the last one to try! And then I come across this master-class and having the mirror already primed and painted I decided to give it a go! 3D details turned out far from perfect and I highlighted it by adding craquelure and patina. Now it looks like it was made of ivory long-long ago!
