A week ago I left in a hurry to go to a lovely city Belfast and didn't show this small tissue box. I wanted it to look a bit old-fashioned that's why all these chintz roses and hand-made lace.
And about my trip to Belfast - I really like the place, just love it! Unfortunately my camera died in the middle of our stay there, nasty thing! If I manage to save some pictures, I will post them here because I enjoyed there very much and would love to share.

Box for Christmas Wine
I've just finished this wine box with very Christmasy feel about it. I think it might be a very good festive present with a bottle of nice wine in it!
It looked like this:

Vintage Christmas Decoration
I started to make Christmas decoration and the first ones are these wooden hearts in vintage style. Usually I am not very keen on using golden or silver leaf, but in this case I thought it was appropriate.

Nursery Rhymes
Clickety-clack,
Wheels on the track,
This is the way
They begin on the track.
I'm a little snowman short and fat,
Here's my scarf and here's my hat
When I see the snowfall,
Hear me shout
"All you children please come out!"

One Day at Seaside
We had a heatwave in Britain (definitely here in Yorkshire!)! Last week the weather was much better then in summer months and we enjoyed it immensely. My husband is on the annual holiday and we used this opportunity and decided to go to seaside. We were going to Scarborough first but changed our mind on the way and ended up in Filey. For those who do not know - Filey is a small seaside resort with endless sandy beach, nice country walks and steep cliffs.
And of course you can’t do without a few seaside souvenirs!

Planter "Sweet Violet"
I loved this planter at first sight! The size and the shape fits perfectly with my idea of a small vintage planter. It took me a while to find this lovely image of sweet violet and now it's finished!
